android - Unity3D + Google Cardboard SDK = No UI masking -


ui mask not work google's cardboard sdk? works oculus mobile vr plugin cardboard sdk masks seem gone.

in editor , vr mode disabled looks fine.

  • did encounter issue , know how fix?
  • in direction should investigate further?

i tried builds on note 4 , galaxy s3 2 different projects sure. logs didn't show striking lines. googled , did not found related issue. answers , forums same.

any suggestions highly appreciated!

while not answer question - figure after long information helpful:

i've noticed cardboard sdk in general doesn't play nice unity ui @ times. found when enabling or disabling vr mode on cardboard, ui cease respond touch inputs on other (2d) scenes. solved turning vr mode before changing scenes. perhaps need dig around inside google's code see it's messing ui...
