flash - Broken Adobe Air Installers, Do I Need a Certificate -

this multi-part question, resolve same issue.

i'm trying publish project i've been working on intermittent problems .air files generated.

i following warning when publishing project:

"there error connecting timestamp server. may not have connection network, or server may have problem.

if choose disable timestamping, air application fail install when digital signature expires."

so have had no choice disable timestamping.

i have working internet connection, i'm working company network, issue, , if so, there work around (opening specific port or something)? also, how long above-mentioned digital signatures have before expiring?

also, creating own certificate. need purchase kind of certificate/license install application on computer? i've done research, information hard find, , find kind of cryptic @ best. currently, need deploy machines within company.

sometimes installer works fine , without issue (on computer generated @ least), other times "the application not installed because installer file damaged. try obtaining new installer file application author." error message. other times error stating certificates or signatures or not match (sorry, couldn't replicate error paraphrasing).i have yet install work on separate machine.

i've tried using air 2.5 , 2.6.

also, while i'm here: can embed air applications run inside browser traditional flash project?

about certificate, can use self signed certificate, difference users see big warning when installing publisher unknown. timestamping, know adt tool packages app attempting connect timestamping server, not sure protocol used, need check , unblock this. if installer not timestamped issue after certificate expires can continue using installer , need new 1 certificate not expired.

as example, if use certificate expires tomorrow today , installer not timestamped not work after tomorrow if timestamped continue work after certificate expired because created before expiration

i seen installer damaged erors few times on our customers machine, on windows, uninstalling , reinstalling air helped not always, problem error message not detailled enough fix this, in rare cases had create .exe installers customers suggest try installers on few machines first , use native .exe installers if else not working.
