Gem compatibility and Ruby version -


how find out gems need updated in rails app if ruby version upgraded?

for example, know of rails app gems have upgraded if upgrade ruby 2.1.3 2.2.2. preference keep changes minimal reduce probability of things breaking.

the important thing dry-run. 1 can assess amount of work upgrade require.

i have checked bundle , gem readme's without luck.

if update rails version, should install or resolve required dependencies needed run new rails version. far as gems have entered not dependencys rails, can check gem compatibility on rubygems.org. type in title of gem in search bar.

firefox - Where is 'webgl.osmesalib' parameter? -

i'm trying webgl running on firefox (v37.0.2) via software acceleration mesa. tried following steps have been stated in article: http://www.binarytides.com/enable-webgl-firefox-ubuntu/ however, unable find parameter named ' webgl.osmesalib ' in about:config section? has been removed (or renamed)? if yes, how should instruct firefox use mesa's software acceleration webgl? looks support osmesa removed in favour llvmpipe.
