git - Using Github over HTTP (not https) -

i'm working on class project , want use git working team. however, our high school blocks external traffic that's not on port 80, puts ssh and, notably, https, out of picture. have prior permission use git repo, , i've sent emails proper people getting kind of thing work, policies don't allow it.

how can access these on http?

if not possible, know of free git services support plain old http? i've tried github , bitbucket , know neither of them (they support https instead).
