git - Why choose VSO over IaaS TFS 2013/15 -


i've been pouring on microsoft information , i'm finding difficult determine if there reason support using on-premise tfs 2015 or infrastructure service tfs 2015 instead of visual studio online.

i can see vso patched regularly. more our in-house processes allow. in fact vso looks appealing because wouldn't have go through processes keep date.

does have experience true cost , maybe gotchas associated vso , iaas?

  • its more secure - ms, while biger target, spend hundreds of millions on security
  • better support & sla - saas provides support , uptime application, not hardware.
  • the experts on - if goes wrong developer coded on case.
  • up date - 3 week feature drop nothing sniffed at.
  • unlimited storage - tfs canbgrow when start using features, test management. on vso pay users, not disk space. , disk space auto-grows ad infanitun.
  • more flexible licencing - while msdn still supported can tranfer between people once every 3 months, , need pay per year, or three. vso has monthly model.

firefox - Where is 'webgl.osmesalib' parameter? -

i'm trying webgl running on firefox (v37.0.2) via software acceleration mesa. tried following steps have been stated in article: http://www.binarytides.com/enable-webgl-firefox-ubuntu/ however, unable find parameter named ' webgl.osmesalib ' in about:config section? has been removed (or renamed)? if yes, how should instruct firefox use mesa's software acceleration webgl? looks support osmesa removed in favour llvmpipe.
