Android: material design's Floating Action Button (FAB) and shifting views -


i implement 2 material design elements in android:

  • the floating action button (fab)

  • "shifting views" (not sure if proper term)

i cannot find android widget implement fabs. best recommended solution? use third party libraries?

with "shifting view", mean view shifts , down. example if have 2 views in fragment: top view fixed, , bottom view list, scrolling list, can make list take space of top view. how implement that? part of android framework or need use third party libraries again?

there's no stock android implementation of fab, i've used implementation of fab's in couple of projects , working great , supports material greatness!

so given fact there's no fab implementation on android, should go 3rd party implementation

by shifting views mean toolbar? similar this or this? hard say, knowing use case or toy mean, explanation reminds me of
