VB6 creates corrupt compiles...? -


i have known while vb6 trouble, can - have legacy system maintain , still being developed here , there.

and had weirdest thing ever happen me vb6 now.

compiled new version of our application. tested - worked.

deployed client production site. application keeps crashing! when? when user clicks anywhere inside dhtmledit control have in specific window. or on window contains it.

now, i've had before , solution cryptic. tried following: incremented project's revision number 1, recompiled, , guess what?

works perfectly.

i cannot show code because talking 50,000 lines of code here, , there no specific code called when clicking dhtmledit control, form, whatever.

i'm wondering if else had encountered oddity.

the vb6 compiler not deterministic compiler , not produce near consistent output. iow, while fixing bug not design, fact can produce such behavior is.

but in deterministic compilers, making small change can "fix" (aka hide) bugs triggered memory alignments, or variable initialition

firefox - Where is 'webgl.osmesalib' parameter? -

i'm trying webgl running on firefox (v37.0.2) via software acceleration mesa. tried following steps have been stated in article: http://www.binarytides.com/enable-webgl-firefox-ubuntu/ however, unable find parameter named ' webgl.osmesalib ' in about:config section? has been removed (or renamed)? if yes, how should instruct firefox use mesa's software acceleration webgl? looks support osmesa removed in favour llvmpipe.
