c# - Using Team Foundation Server for a own server -

my team works on sql database , asp.net in ms visual studio 2008. have own server our current repository stored. use visual sourcesafe (vss) 6.0 source control. decided switch latest source control technologies such team foundation server or git.

i able create git repository in our server , team members able commit changes in repository through visual studio 2013. nice gui of team foundation server , of features source control explorer, check-out files edit, managing users group , permission through tfs control panel, etc. convenient if have access features.

my question can use visual studio team services maintaining our central repository in our own server? or have host our source code in visual studio team services or other third party repository? not want store our code other places other our own server , still want use tfs features.

thank in advance.

yes, tfs allows store repository on own private server. install tfs on server, visual studio connect each client machine , can use source control etc.
