drupal 7 - Pagination on front page -

i developing drupal theme client. had drupal training, hadn't time see pagination system, neither how customize (markup).

i had @ theme_pager(). can't put on home page (page--front.tpl.php).

i don't use views module because succeeded without module entire site.

do have solution ? tutorial ?

theme_pager function used dynamically generate markup every pager on website.

there around 5 functions, used drupal task, can customize pretty-much overriding default theme_pager in theme.

what need grab initial source code drupal.org

replace theme theme name eg. foo_pager , put code in foo/template.php

you have understand algorithm behind adjust properly.
