dns - Does c-ares support IOS? -


do c-ares support ios? need use c-ares in company's app running on ios. can't work correctly using "ares_gethostbyname()" , status code in callback function returns 11(ares_econnrefused) time . same code runs correctly on other opearting system such win32, android.

glancing on source code, found reason, is, c-ares unable dns servers on ios. because c-ares read file /etc/resolv.conf dns servers information, file not exist on ios.

so, c-ares support ios? or what's method on ios dns servers information?

i found a patch never merged master repo, posted in december 2014.

it'd great if try out , report on c-ares mailing list can work on getting merged , supported "officially".

firefox - Where is 'webgl.osmesalib' parameter? -

i'm trying webgl running on firefox (v37.0.2) via software acceleration mesa. tried following steps have been stated in article: http://www.binarytides.com/enable-webgl-firefox-ubuntu/ however, unable find parameter named ' webgl.osmesalib ' in about:config section? has been removed (or renamed)? if yes, how should instruct firefox use mesa's software acceleration webgl? looks support osmesa removed in favour llvmpipe.
